why executive function
as a kid i was told constantly that i wasn't achieving my potential, and nobody could tell me why, least of all me. i found out i had ADHD a lot later.
before skills kit i studied educational policy, worked in schools across the country, won awards for inclusion, and helped schools get SEND provision right. i started skills kit to do that work outside the school system, with adults as well as teenagers.

how i work
no two people are the same, diagnosis or not. the approach is neuroaffirmative, which means we start from how your brain actually works, not how it's “supposed to”. it's practical and it's honest. if something isn't working we bin it and try something else.
this isn't therapy. we're working out what you do next week, not what happened when you were seven. sessions are relaxed: you're talking to someone normal about how your week went, and most people leave lighter than they arrived.
