how much does it cost?
£60 an hour for one-to-one coaching, or £399 for a block of eight. we recommend a regular weekly session as a commitment to start with. a limited number of places are available at reduced rates for people in financial need. for schools, organisations and anything else, get in touch and we'll work it out.
what happens in a session?
an hour (usually), online, just talking and working things through. we look at what happened since last time, what got in the way, and what we're changing next. you don't need to prepare anything.
how soon will i see a difference?
coaching works by building habits, so it's gradual. most people notice small shifts within a few sessions. the bigger changes take a bit of commitment and a bit of time, which is why we recommend a block of eight to start with.
who is it for?
adults, students, parents, creatives and businesses. anyone who wants to work with their brain instead of against it. there's more on what we do, and a short list of what i don't do on the home page.
do i need a diagnosis of something?
no. executive function coaching is for everyone, diagnosis or not. some people come with a diagnosis, old or new, and want to manage it better. some are on a waiting list. some don't want a label and never will. all fine. coaching doesn't need one and doesn't give you one.
i'm a parent. can you help?
yes, with one honest caveat. i'm not a parent and i'm not going to tell you how to be one. what i can do is give you the executive function view of what's going on with your kid, and some things that might help.
online or in person?
online by default, because it's practical and it works. if you're in london and in person would suit you better, say so and we'll talk about it. i like to meet people in person at least once where it's possible, but can't promise it i'm afraid.
do you work with schools and organisations?
yes. staff training, student talks and consultancy, plus regular in-school coaching: coming in on a set day each week, or the online equivalent, to work with students one-to-one. workplaces can commission coaching too, including via the access to work scheme.
is coaching confidential?
yes. what's said in a session stays in it, and skills kit follows a uk gdpr privacy policy covering how your information is stored and used.
what's your safeguarding policy?
i'm dbs checked. for under 18s a parent or guardian is nearby during sessions. the full policy is here.
is there a printable version of the quiz?
yes. download it here. free, no email needed, and the key's on the back.
how long do people usually do it for?
we recommend a block of eight to start with. some people want six sessions to get through a specific thing, others stay on a weekly rhythm for a year or more. over time you might drop the frequency or the length and just have the occasional check in. the aim is always that you stop needing me. circumstances change though, and i'm here if things change your end.
have another question?
